Privacy Policy

Last updated August 19, 2026.

Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to QuietLoud Studios and quietloudstudios.com.

QuietLoud Studios is a creative studio and brand under KazSource, Inc. KazSource, Inc. operates this website. In this policy, “QuietLoud,” “KazSource,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to KazSource, Inc. in its operation of QuietLoud Studios and this website.

Information you provide

You may visit most of the website without directly providing your name or contact information. We receive information when you choose to interact with us.

Direct email

The Contact page primarily uses direct email links. If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any other information or attachments you choose to provide.

Work With Us submissions

The Work With Us page uses an embedded Google Form. A submission may include your contact information, information about a project, show, proposal, manuscript, creative idea, or other material you choose to provide.

Responses are stored through Google Forms and Google Workspace, including Google Drive. Submissions may also generate email notifications. Access is limited to authorized KazSource team members who need the information to review and respond to the submission.

Submitting material does not transfer ownership of that material. Additional information about submissions appears in our Disclaimer and Website Terms.

Loading or interacting with the embedded form may also provide Google with ordinary browser, device, and request information under Google’s own privacy practices.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the QuietLoud newsletter, we collect your email address and, if provided, your first name. Newsletter subscriptions are processed through Mailchimp using single opt-in.

QuietLoud sends occasional emails. You may unsubscribe using the link included in an email. Unsubscribed contacts are not intentionally sent further marketing emails, but subscription status and opt-out history may remain archived or otherwise retained in Mailchimp so that the unsubscribe request can be honored.

Information collected when you use the site

Website hosting and request information

The website is hosted on Vercel. When your browser requests a page or uses site functionality, Vercel may process information such as:

  • IP address
  • request date and time
  • requested page or resource
  • browser and device information
  • referring page
  • approximate location derived from IP address
  • system, diagnostic, performance, and security information

This information may be used to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose errors, and monitor performance. More information is available in the Vercel Privacy Notice.

Google Analytics 4

QuietLoud uses Google Analytics 4 to understand general site use and improve the website. Its standard implementation may collect information such as:

  • pages viewed and interactions with the site
  • session information
  • browser and device information
  • referring source
  • approximate geographic location
  • a pseudonymous client identifier stored in first-party cookies such as _ga

Google states that GA4 uses an IP address at collection time to determine approximate location and discards the IP address before it is logged in its data centers.

QuietLoud’s current GA4 configuration has:

  • Google Signals turned off
  • user-provided data collection turned off
  • no linked Google Ads account
  • event-data retention set to two months
  • user-data retention set to 14 months
  • user-data retention reset when new activity occurs

QuietLoud does not intentionally send names, email addresses, or form contents to Google Analytics.

More information is available in Google’s documentation about GA4 data collection and regional data processing.

Embedded media

Some QuietLoud pages contain media players or content supplied by third parties.

  • Spotify provides embedded podcast players.
  • Transistor provides embedded podcast episode players and audio delivery.
  • A limited number of Labs pages use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed mode through youtube-nocookie.com.

When an embedded player loads or you interact with it, its provider may receive information such as your IP address, browser or device information, the page containing the player, and your interaction with the media. The provider may use cookies or associate activity with an account if you are logged in to its service.

YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode limits how views from an embedded player are used for personalization, but it does not eliminate all processing by Google.

For more information, see:

Limited Google Fonts use

The site’s primary fonts are hosted with the site. One interactive Labs printing feature requests fonts from Google when a visitor opens its print view. That request may provide Google with ordinary browser, device, and request information.

We may use information described in this policy to:

  • operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the website
  • respond to emails and inquiries
  • review and evaluate Work With Us submissions
  • communicate with a submitter about a possible project or relationship

  • understand site traffic and improve the website
  • maintain business and communications records
  • comply with legal obligations
  • protect our rights, property, security, and the rights or security of others

How information may be disclosed

Information may be made available to:

  • authorized KazSource personnel who need it for the purposes described above
  • Vercel, Google, Mailchimp, Spotify, Transistor, and other providers involved in operating a relevant feature
  • professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, address security or fraud, or protect legal rights
  • another party when you direct or authorize us to disclose it

Third-party providers process information under their own terms, privacy policies, and arrangements with KazSource.

Retention

Google Analytics event data is currently configured for two months of retention. User data is configured for 14 months, with the user-data period reset when new activity occurs.

Work With Us submissions, direct email communications, and related records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for business operations, communications, evaluation, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal or compliance purposes. QuietLoud does not currently use a fixed deletion period for these records.

Newsletter information may remain in Mailchimp while a person is subscribed. Unsubscribed contacts may remain archived or otherwise retained so that subscription history and opt-out status can be preserved. QuietLoud does not currently use a separate fixed deletion period for this information.

Cookies and browser controls

Google Analytics and embedded third-party services may use cookies or similar browser technologies.

You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect analytics and the operation of embedded players or other third-party features. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

The website does not currently provide an account-based privacy-preferences center.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may:

  • unsubscribe from newsletter emails using the unsubscribe link in the message
  • contact QuietLoud about personal information you previously provided
  • ask that inaccurate contact information be corrected
  • request deletion of information, subject to records we reasonably or legally need to retain
  • manage cookies through your browser and relevant third-party controls

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights concerning your personal information. We may need to verify a request before acting on it and will respond as required by applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information within our control. No method of transmission, storage, or internet operation can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Please do not send sensitive information through ordinary email or general project-submission channels unless it is necessary and appropriate to do so.

QuietLoud is operated from the United States and is primarily directed toward a U.S. audience. Visitors may nevertheless access the website from other countries. Information may be processed in the United States and in other places where the providers described in this policy operate.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the website, our practices, or applicable requirements. The date at the top identifies the current version.
